Online Collections about Books & Authors

Get out your library card; you're going to need it!

  • Contemporary Authors
    Find biographical information about the author, a list of other books the author has written, as well as reviews and criticisms of his or her most popular works.
  • Literature Criticism Online
    Includes literary criticism for the 19th century, 20th century and contemporary times. Find biographical information about an author, plot, major characters, themes and criticism from reviewers of specific works, as well as information for major literary trends and topics, such as the Beat Generation, slave narratives and American Romanticism.
